CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: LIBRARY VOLUNTEERS WANTED!
Are you looking for ways to boost your resume or college applications? Do you love to read, work with children, or design creative art?
Then Satilla Regional Library needs YOU!
The Satilla Regional Library System is currently seeking volunteers ages 15 and older to help shelve books, create engaging displays, assist with Children's and Young Adult programming, provide computer support and to assist with other projects as assigned. Volunteers are especially needed at the Douglas/Coffee County Library, but all six branches are accepting applications.
-Volunteers must be at least 15 years of age. Volunteers under 18 must complete the Parental Consent section of the application.
-Volunteers must be available to work a minimum of a 2-3 hour shift.
-Volunteers must be willing to submit to a background check.
-Volunteers must complete a Volunteer Intake Form and turn it in to their local library. After receipt of a volunteer's application, they
will be called back for a brief (15-20 minute) interview.
