Teen Advisory Group at the Douglas-Coffee County Public Library and new one starting in March at the Pearson Public Library!!

Make a difference! Have fun with your peers!! Make your opinions heard!! Help plan fun teen programming and suggest reads to order at the library!! Fun for all!! Volunteering hours can be earned through this activity. These meetings will be held in the Large Meeting Room in Douglas and the Multi-Purpose Room in Pearson

Douglas: Saturday, February 14 and 28 at 11:30 a.m.

Saturday, March 14 and 28 at 11:30 a.m.

Pearson: First Teen Advisory Meeting is Saturday, March 28, 2014 at 2:30 p.m.

Teen Radio Spot Auditions for NEW Young Adult Books!!

Come and audition for a spot on the radio to promote our new young adult books at Satilla Regional Library System!! This is on an on-going basis!!
Call Miss Julie at (912) 384-4667 ext. 222 to sign up for a time!! This is an ongoing program.

Note: You must have an audio permission form signed by a parent/guardian before participating. All permission forms are available at each location or you may print one off here by clicking here: Audio Permission Slip . Auditions for new young adult books are on an ongoing basis!!

Volunteer @ Your Library
Are you thinking about college? Are you looking for a career? If you're looking for a great way to make yourself stand out from the crowd, then look no further: volunteering at your local library is an excellent way to gain customer service, computer, and programming experience. We're looking for volunteers ages 15 and up to help with youth programming, basic computer help, shelving books, designing displays, and a variety of other tasks. More information HERE.
