June 17, 2016: Computer Basics
For those who have little or no knowledge or experience using computers. Topics covered will include elements of the computer, how to use the mouse, and keyboard and assess data stored on the computer or a search engine.
June 24, 2016: No Classes
July 1, 2016: Internet/E-mail Basics
A continuation of the Computer Basics class. This class will help the new computer user to navigate the internet through a popular browser and use a free e-mail service.
July 8, 2016: Computer Basics
Repeat of the June 17, 2016 class. For new users.
July 15, 2016: Social Media (Facebook, etc.)
Learn the basic use of Facebook and create your own account if you do not have one.
July 22, 2016: MS Word
Learn the basic functions of Microsoft's word processor to write letters, resumes, and save text date to the computer.
July 27, 2016: Practice Lab
General help session to assist attendees with any computer related question they may have.
Classes will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Fridays and have limited size. There is no sign-up for the classes and will be on a first come first served basis.
